Milan’s joint-CEO Adriano Galliani is reportedly meeting with the agent of Shakhtar Donetsk striker Luiz Adriano.

It was revealed yesterday that the Rossoneri are in pole position for the Brazilian’s signature, with the Ukrainian side believed to be looking for ?8m.

Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that a meeting is taking place today between Galliani and the forward’s agent, with the Diavolo looking to lower the asking price to between ?6m and ?7m.

Luiz Adriano is out of contract in December, so Shakhtar may be willing to lower their asking price rather than risk losing him for free.

Today Adriano Galliani reached an agreement with Luiz Adriano to acquire him on January 1st when his current contract expires.
But Milan is trying to work out a deal to acquire him immediately from Shakhtar Donetsk in exchange of a transfer fee.
One way to the other Luiz Adriano will join Milan, the question is when.
