Rob Dorsett is Sky Sports News HQ's reporter in Leicester and he's given us an update on what he's expecting from Claudio Ranieri's side today...

He said: “The main man on the top of Leicester’s list is Andre Karillo from Sporting Lisbon – the 24-year-old Peruvian right winger. Talks are ongoing between Leicester and Lisbon to thrash out a deal, with no fee agreed at this stage.

“Definitely wide positions the focus of Ranieri’s attention. Ahmed Elmohamady from Hull and Demarai Gray from Birmingham are both on his long list – they’re monitoring the situations there.”

LATE PLAY FOR STONES?

“Also, Danish international defender Erik Sviatchenko could be on his way from FC Midjtylland for £2.2m.

“Don’t rule out another bid from Bournemouth for Lewis Grabban, and also potentially leaving Norwich today on loans are record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel – who joined two summers ago for £10m – Gary Hooper, Elliott Bennett and also Kyle Lafferty.”

We understand Villa have made a bid for the striker this morning but it has been dismissed out of hand.

“Some reports surfaced last night that one of their star young players, Ayoze Perez, could be on his way out.

“I’ve spoken to a senior source at Newcastle in the last half an hour, and that source tells me he is not for sale and will definitely remain a Newcastle player in this transfer window.”
