Marcus Rashford's extra-time winner gave Manchester United a nervy 2-1 victory over Anderlecht to reach the Europa League semi-finals 3-2 on aggregate.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan gave United the lead on 10 minutes with a low effort from 12 yards, before Anderlecht levelled from Sofiane Hanni's close-range rebounded effort on 32 minutes.

United, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in particular, missed a host of chances in the second half and extra-time, but Rashford got the winner in the 107th minute with a left-footed effort following a superb turn inside the box.

21分鐘，安德列治的艾治邦左路突破後起腳，但未能射破羅美路十指關。大難不死的紅魔，23分鐘卻先折一將，馬高斯盧祖因傷退下火線，由戴利白蘭特入替。進攻明顯較首回合積極的安德列治，31分鐘就成功追平。泰利文斯禁區外施射省中紅魔守將，皮球中楣彈出不遠，混亂中蘇菲亞尼漢尼走到有利位置，大腳一抽，羅美路束手就擒。

雙方半場打成1:1平手，下半場皆無法增添紀錄，結果踢完90分鐘維持相同比數，兩回合總計就打和2:2，仍未能分出高下，需要進行加時。可惜，加時尚未開波，紅魔就缺少了伊巴謙莫域。伊巴拐著步離球場，由安東尼馬迪爾入替。

加時11分鐘，普巴接應費蘭尼頭槌近門破網，惟球證指費蘭尼犯規在先，判入球無效。加時17分鐘，拉舒福特扭過一名守將後再在另一人力壓下起腳，終於為紅魔取得今仗第2個人球。臨完場前馬迪爾一度破網，但越位在先而被判無效；安德列治麥保積最後的頭槌攻門亦僅僅高出，結果紅魔幾經辛苦以2:1贏波，兩回合總計以3:2淘汰對手，取得4強席位。
