NEYMAR TO LEAVE 'WITHIN DAYS'

Neymar will leave Barcelona and make his long-protracted move to Paris Saint-Germain 'in a matter of days, according to European football expert Pete Jenson.

Speaking on 5 Live's Football Daily Podcast, Jenson said: "I think Neymar is a matter of days before we put an end to this and he confirms he'll be playing at PSG next season. I'll be amazed if that deal doesn't happen."

He added: "The original motivation of getting Coutinho was to keep Neymar happy. Neymar is not too pleased with the fact that Barcelona have been selling their Brazilian stars.

"He wants to have a couple of Brazilian pals in the team and that's why there was that rather strange pursuit of Paulinho earlier in the sumer. That's the original motivation and the question then is, if Neymar is no longer still at the club, do they proceed?

NEYMAR FLIES BACK TO BARCA

Neymar has flown back to Barcelona to resume his pre-season training with the Catalan giants, according to Sky sources.

The 25-year-old forward flew back to Spain from Dubai on Tuesday after attending a series of promotional events in China earlier this week.

Sky sources understand talks to take Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain are now at an advanced stage, with one source close to the player maintaining it remains "highly likely" a deal will happen.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi believes negotiations are going well and that a deal is likely to be agreed for the forward, who has a ?222m (£196m) release clause in his contract at the Nou Camp.
