Report: Cavaliers acquire George Hill, Rodney Hood in three-team trade

The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired Rodney Hood and George Hill in a three-team trade with the Utah Jazz and Sacramento Kings, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, completely reshaping the roster of the reeling three-time defending Eastern Conference champions before the trade deadline.

The Jazz reportedly receive Jae Crowder and Derrick Rose from the Cavaliers, while the Kings get Joe Johnson from Utah and Iman Shumpert from Cleveland. Sacramento also landed a future draft pick and cash considerations in the trade, according to NBA.com’s David Aldridge.

The deal comes less than an hour after the Cavs traded Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye and their protected 2018 first-round draft pick to the Los Angeles Lakers for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr.
