Divock Origi could leave Liverpool for Tottenham, his father has revealed.

The Belgium international has fallen behind Dominic Solanke and Daniel Sturridge in the pecking order at Liverpool.

“We’ve not been contacted by Anderlecht,” Mike Origi told DH.be.
“Divock has to leave Liverpool to get more playing time.

“Tottenham is a possibility, but there is also interest from France and Germany."

Wolfsburg have emerged as favourites to take Liverpool striker Divock Origi on a season-long loan.

The Bundesliga outfit are prepared to pay a substantial loan fee in order to secure the services of the Belgium international.

Boss Andries Jonker is willing to give Origi the regular game time Liverpool will demand in order for Jurgen Klopp to sanction a loan.

Origi didn’t even make the bench for the Reds’ 4-0 win over Arsenal last weekend with Klopp admitting that a temporary spell away for the 22-year-old was under consideration.

Premier League clubs Newcastle and Tottenham are keen on Origi but Liverpool would rather he went abroad.

Marseille, Bayer Leverkusen and Werder Bremen have also shown interest in taking the frontman on loan.

Origi has scored 21 goals in 77 appearances for Liverpool since arriving from Lille two years ago but has dropped down the pecking order following this summer's arrival of Dominic Solanke.

Wolfsburg sporting director Olaf Rebbe said: "We are looking for someone with an eye for goals. Our task is to find something that makes us better."
