Oscar Nominations 2018: The Complete List

Oscar nominations for the 90th annual awards were announced on Tuesday morning from the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Academy President John Bailey was joined by Tiffany Haddish and Andy Serkis to reveal the nominees in 24 categories.

Guillermo del Toro’s “The Shape of Water” continued its awards show streak, leading the pack with 13 nominations. Christopher Nolan’s “Dunkirk,” Martin McDonagh’s “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” Greta Gerwig’s “Lady Bird,” Luca Guadagnino’s “Call Me by Your Name,” and Steven Spielberg’s “The Post” also scored nominations.

The Academy Awards — hosted by Jimmy Kimmel for the second time — will air live on ABC on March 4.

“Darkest Hour” - 幾好睇,但我懷疑如果對那段時間的歷史不太認識的觀眾會唔會睇得好唔耐煩?由打字女郎做視角切入點既作用係乜?唔太明。成套戲都係靠oldman一個撐起,如果男主不是他,相信連其他提名都未必有。“Dunkirk” - 好睇!路蘭一貫非常聰明的拍法,觀眾會喜歡,會有回響,有話題性的尾巴探出,會令人咀嚼,會再返睇戲中須細味之處。但佢刻意忽略的瑣碎細節,仍然係會繼續俾影評人攻擊的死位,所以我相信今屆仲未係佢的時候。而家只睇下高明的影評們幾時會放低姿勢,或路蘭再進級到連所有細部地方都完美處理得喜歡逐格重播挑刺的影評們啞口無言。

“Lady Bird” - 意料之外好睇! 普通高中生成長記,小女生細細碎碎的軼事卻不煩人,導演應該用左唔少心思取捨。女主成長中的友情,愛情,親情一一帶過,不高深,不造作,就像你我日常,每每輕輕揪你一下心,又輕輕放下,看完電影,會回味當年,細思現狀,會看著女兒,會心一笑,不錯的作品。




“Phantom Thread” - 又一部意料之外好睇的作品!最初10 分鐘,我以為自己會看多10 分鐘便會放棄,因為似係純為羅獎而拍,配樂,服裝都非常美,節奏刻意放慢,似乎想要highlight 係一部"高級" 的作品,呢d 造作品,我好多時都頂唔順,誰知真正女主出場後,棋風一轉,變成相愛相殺的奇異愛情電影,節奏仍然緩和的,但恰到好處,係刻意要稍稍造作的作品,因為要配合主角身處的身份階層,但導演其實明白再造作多一分便會太超過,看男女主吵架那場戲,她對男主生活圈的吐嘈便知道。三個主角演出都極上乘,尤其Daniel Day-Lewis,  他真的渾身是戲,眼耳口鼻甚至頭髮都滿是戲味,今屆佢同oldman是但一個羅獎我都無意見。




“The Post” - 好睇。 演員好,節奏好,配樂好,劇本好,緊張感十足,處處四平八穩,荷里活典型教材作品。觀看時一直都想到兩年前的spotlight,  兩片有很多相似之處。這部片計算得很準確,差不多時間就會爆響一下小火花,令觀眾樂得把整筒爆谷剛好吃完滿意離座。而spotlight 就像平地一聲雷,雷響過後,回音縈繞,久久不散,完場時才驚覺自己仍目定口呆,爆谷仍拿著未吃。




“The Shape of Water” - 一部有心機之作,道具服裝造型都花了心思,故事嚇人但老土,坦白講,這個情節我不懂欣賞,然後...沒然後了...




“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" - 精釆的作品,我喜歡!黑色的幽默,但這個幽默是內藏的,是要再稍稍品味一下,然後只笑一邊咀角的那種,女主角強勢的演出,說服力太強了,羅獎相信沒懸念。故事中沒有忠奸,只有各種人性,沒有說教,只有設身處地,開放式結局不是天台bbq,  非常好,推薦。




“Call Me by Your Name” - 抱歉男同電影我一向不看,沒有評價。但自演員名單,有提名的那位男主係有份做ladybird 個娃娃臉?睇黎今年係佢幸運年。

我覺得 Dunkirk 係有少少失手,拍攝技巧上係無可挑剔的,但整體上並非真係咁出色...

Darkest Hour 的 Gary Oldman 真係幾好,演技亦有大突破,亦係 Oscar 鍾意o個類型...

廣各牌殺人事件我唔係太明o個D笑位,但係真係好發人心省,最佳影片係有D機會。女主角都有機會,但未係去到Gary Oldman 咁咁突出。反而最佳劇本就應該機會最大。

同意dunkirk 相比路蘭之前既戲係較為失色,而整體上...我覺得路蘭一直都唔在意"整體上",  佢比較在意每套作品的talking point,  能否帶起話題性係佢的大前題,細節會經常忽略或無意去斟酌,可能佢覺得一般觀眾唔會睇到咁仔細,呢個亦係一眾影評人經常詬病佢既地方。

Oldman 今次的演繹唔知唔算算突破,因為佢每套戲都係破格演繹的,所謂突破已經變成佢既風格~
不過的確奥斯卡係喜歡呢類型,似會俾佢的機會大d~~

其實今年最爆既戲我覺得係the disaster artist,  成件事都好好玩,可惜醜聞影響,奥斯卡一向政治正確,如果唔係個頒獎禮淨係玩呢套戲同玩下james franco 都可以笑死你~
