Tottenham joins Dybala race, offer to Juventus

After failing to come to an agreement with Manchester United, a new offer has been presented to Juventus for Paulo Dybala.
Still coming from the Premier League, Tottenham has now entered the race to sign the Bianconeri's Argentine attacker.
They have proposed ?70 million for La Joya - a transfer fee that both Juventus and Pochettino's team have agreed upon. Now, Dybala has to find an economic agreement with the club.

The club have agreed personal terms with Dybala with the Argentinian set to be on a basic £350,000-a-week but the image rights and agents fees are a real sticking point.

Regarding the actual transfer fee, Tottenham have told Juventus that they are prepared to pay ?70m (£64.4m) for the 25-year-old. The Serie A side would like nearer ?80m for the player but also want to see the Argentinian depart to ease the wage bill.

The real problem, as it has been throughout the negotiations, is the image rights and the agents’ fees, which could be as much as £12m.

It’s amazing how timing is such a factor in this chess match between Juventus & Inter that involved Lukaku and now Dybala and Icardi. Fascinating stuff especially when you consider two former long time colleagues, Marotta & Paratici, are playing this chess match

Now feels that Inter holds almost all the leverage- they secured Lukaku taking away Juventus replacement for Dybala and still own Icardi, who is Paratici’s target. With window closing in PL today, Juve has to decide if pulling trigger on Dybala is worth it

Even if deal with Spurs doesn’t happen today, Dybala could still be sold- he could be flipped for Icardi or join PSG since transfer window will still be open in Italy and France until end of the month
