Gerrard out for the season
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has this morning confirmed that Steven Gerrard will miss the rest of the season.
The Reds captain underwent groin surgery last month, but suffered a setback in training last week and subsequently missed Saturday’s clash with West Brom.
Dalglish revealed the news during his pre-match press conference at Melwood on Friday.
Speaking about the setback last week, Dalglish stated, "Steven was training and innocuously tried to turn with the ball and felt a sharp pain.
