曼城門將祖赫特(Joe Hart)以350萬鎊轉投般尼,簽約2年

Joe Hart to leave Manchester City this summer after 12 seasons at the club with goalkeeper keen on permanent move away from the Etihad
  • Joe Hart is expected to report back to the club for training on Monday morning
  • Hart spent last season on loan with West Ham following a year in Italy with Torino
  • The 31-year-old has been frozen out since Pep Guardiola took the reins at City
  • Hart missed out on England's World Cup squad despite playing in qualification

Joe Hart is set to end his 12–year stay at Manchester City in this transfer window - with the player keen on a permanent move away from the club.

The England goalkeeper, who did not make the World Cup squad, is due to report back to the Etihad Campus on Monday morning for training following a year spent on loan at West Ham United.

Hart, 31, has not played a Premier League match for City under Pep Guardiola and spent the Catalan's first season in charge on loan at Serie A side Torino.

He has a year remaining on his £120,000-a-week contract and Sportsmail understands that the 31–year-old would prefer a transfer rather than another loan.

City want a fee for the player, although should that not be forthcoming allowing him to leave on a free transfer would appear to make some sense. With the player reluctant to head out on loan, City could face picking up a £6m tab for a player who is not likely to be used.

Hart remains well-liked at City and there is a strong desire to do right by a player who is viewed as a loyal servant for the club.

The belief is that he has accepted Guardiola's decision to effectively end his career at the Etihad like a professional and has caused little of the drama triggered by others who have found themselves out in the cold.

After spending two seasons on the road, Hart is thought to be keen to find a long-term project either at home or abroad, and a destination in which his young family can settle.

Hart joined City in 2006 from hometown club Shrewsbury Town. After loan spells at Tranmere Rovers and Blackpool he took the first team gloves under Sven-Goran Eriksson before picking up the first of 75 England caps months later.

After being replaced by Shay Given, he spent a year on loan at Birmingham City before returning to become a mainstay of City's transformation in 2010, picking up Premier League titles in 2012 and 2014.

However, Guardiola's arrival spelled the end of Hart's time as the club's No 1 with just one appearance - a poignant Champions League victory over Steaua Bucharest for which he was made captain - following.

An inconsistent year in Italy, followed by similar in London saw him miss out on a place in Gareth Southgate's squad for Russia despite playing a key role in their passage to the tournament.

Following the announcement, a 'gutted' Hart took to social media, stating: 'After 2 years of trying to make the most of a really tough situation, this is hard to take.'

Joe Hart keen for permanent move away from Manchester City
Last Updated: 21/07/18 11:28pm

Joe Hart is keen to secure a permanent move away from Manchester City this summer and avoid going on loan for a third consecutive season.

Hart is back at City after loan spells at Torino and West Ham and finds himself third choice behind Ederson and Claudio Bravo.

City boss Pep Guardiola has said he wants to "find a solution" for Hart and the 31-year-old goalkeeper is keen to begin a new chapter in his career.

"I need to go somewhere permanent, I think that's obvious," said Hart, who missed out on selection for England's World Cup squad.

"I did what I did in the previous two seasons because I needed to play to be involved in the World Cup - and look where that got me.

"I'm experienced, I've played at the highest level for a long time and done a lot of things in the game.

"I need to be an important player at that club and I think that can only happen with a permanent move.

"Of course, if I don't find a solution which suits both parties, I'm contracted to Manchester City.

"I need to do what's right for me and my family and that's the decision I'll be making. It's a tough one, but it's a situation which will be resolved."

Hart has been included in City's squad for the preseason tour of the US and appeared to huge cheers as a second-half substitute in Friday night's 1-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund.

Despite his differences with Guardiola, Hart was always confident he would be welcomed back to City, who he joined from Shrewsbury in 2006.

When asked if he feared he might be frozen out, Hart said: "It was never going to happen, they would never have treated me like that.

"That's not the relationship that we've got. I was never worried about that.

"As long as I've not signed for someone else then I'm here and work hard for this team. We'll see what happens."

There are less than three weeks to go until the English transfer window shuts on August 9, although players can move abroad until August 31.

Hart, who is going into the final year of his contract, knows if a move does not materialise quickly, he faces the prospect of a season in the wilderness but he is remaining philosophical.

"It's life, isn't it? We've all got our own lives that go on," he said. "Football is just a game. You deal with the ups and downs.

"It's difficult when you're on loan, especially when you're not a young player who people may have sympathy for.

"I'm older and being who I am and what I am, I'm there to be shot at, especially if I go on loan to a club that doesn't necessarily have a good season.

"I knew that when I went. I'm young. I feel fresh, I feel strong, I'm ready to go. And I'm ready to give a whole lot more to football. I want to play.

"At the moment I'm here and happy with how they've treated me. It's obvious what's going on."

We understand Burnley have expressed an interest in signing Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.

The Clarets' first-choice goalkeepers Nick Pope and Tom Heaton are both injured, and it’s expected Hart will discuss a move to Turf Moor over the next few days.

Joe Hart: Manchester City keeper to have medical at Burnley
By Simon Stone

BBC Sport

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is to have a medical at Burnley on Friday.

The 31-year-old has a year left on his City contract but has no first-team future under manager Pep Guardiola.

Hart has said he only wants a permanent move and is willing to take a pay-cut after spending the last two seasons on loan at Torino and West Ham.

Clarets keeper Nick Pope, who went to the World Cup ahead of Hart, dislocated his shoulder during their Europa League qualifying first-leg tie in Aberdeen.

Burnley's other England keeper Tom Heaton is still not fully fit as he recovers from a calf injury.

Former Manchester United keeper Anders Lindegaard played in the second leg victory over Aberdeen at Turf Moor on Thursday.

Burnley and Tottenham are the only Premier League clubs not to make a signing this summer.

Hart, who has 75 international caps, made nearly 350 appearances for City, winning two Premier League titles and one FA Cup.
