奧斯爾與阿仙奴的關係接近破裂
Why Mesut Ozil's relationship with Arsenal is almost at breaking point The out-of-favour German midfielder ruled himself out of Saturday's win at Huddersfield through sickness ByJohn Cross Chief Football Writer 19:22, 11 FEB 2019
Mesut Ozil is in danger of leaving his relationship with Arsenal at breaking point after his latest cry off. Incredibly, Ozil has now missed as many games as he has played this season through either illness, a back injury, a knee problem or being left out. Ozil, 30, who is Arsenal’s biggest earner on £350,000-a-week, reported in sick for Saturday’s win at Huddersfield which will raise concerns as to why he is missing so many games. World Cup winner Ozil has made 18 appearances in all competitions this season but has struggled badly under Unai Emery’s regime, although the feeling at the club is that the manager is trying everything to try and make it work. Ozil has been made captain, was given the No10 shirt in the summer and given a huge contract but the club are getting very little value for money since he signed to the mega deal last January. Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger even raised concerns about Ozil’s immune system last season after he cried off sick on several occasions. Arsenal would be open to offers on Ozil whose contract expires in 2021 but his earnings will be a huge stumbling block with Inter Milan and Chinese clubs the only teams to have shown real interest. It is a growing problem for Arsenal and his fitness and health is bound to come under further scrutiny throughout the course of the season. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/mesut-ozils-relationship-arsenal-almost-13985702#comments-section |
