Thiago Alcantara reportedly agrees to join Manchester United on a 5-year deal
Barcelona’s Thiago Alcantara has reporedly agreed tojoin English Premier League champions, Manchester United on a 5-yearcontract with Manchester United.
Barcelona-based, Spanish sportsdaily, Sport is reporting that the end of the Thiago Alcantara transfersaga will soon come to an end as he has, according to their sources,made his decision to make the ?18 million move to Old Trafford.
Thiago has remained mum on his future since the U21 Euro victory lastmonth, which leaves little credibility to the report, as the player’sfather, Mazinho recently stated just two days ago, that they have notdecided on his son’s future.
In earlier reports, Manchester United will pay triple what Thiago iscurrently earning at Barcelona, in addition to making him the startingmidfielder, something that is not guarenteed at the Camp Nou.
Barcelona also reportedly gave Thiago a ten-day deadline in order to decide his future before training begins on July 15th.
There has been no other confirmation from the club or player on Sport’s report at this time.
