Valencia Club de Fútbol have reached an agreement with Real Zaragoza SAD for the signing ofPortuguese international Hélder Postiga for the next two seasons. The player, born on August 2nd,1982, has previously plied his trade with the likes of FC Oporto, Tottenham Hotspur and SportingClube de Portugal, earning a total of nine trophies in his career to date. Postiga has been aPortuguese league champion three times, has won the Portuguese Supercup on a further threeoccasions and has also lifted one Portuguese Cup, UEFA Cup and Intercontinental Cup, respectively.With the Portuguese national team, Postiga was also runner-up in the 2004 UEFA EuropeanChampionship.
