Juventus in ?11m bid for Porto's Fredy Guarin - reportThe Italian club are determined to land the out-of-favour Colombian but will reportedly have to table more money as the Portuguese champions will not sell him on the cheap
Juventus have put together a bid of ?11 million for Porto midfielder Fredy Guarin, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims.
The Italian giants are understood to be in the market for a new midfielder who can provide cover for Andrea Pirlo in central midfield.
David Pizarro has been suggested as Juventus' top transfer target, but the Turin-based outfit are looking at alternatives in case they fail to prize the Chilean away from Roma.
Guarin, 25, has been out of favour at the Estadio do Dragao this season, making just seven appearances under Vitor Pereira to date.
The Colombia international's agent recently admitted that a January move is possible, with Roma also understood to be keeping tabs on the player.
Italian sources claim that Porto will snub Juventus' offer as they want ?13m for Guarin, who has a ?30m release clause attached to his contract.
