日本政府已計劃向核電站附近居民發放防止碘131輻射的藥物，碘片。但盲目服用碘片也會對人體造成傷害。

服用碘片注意事項：

雖然碘對輻射有一定的防治作用，但是大家且不可盲目服用碘片，碘攝入過多會導致碘性甲狀腺腫大，導致不良後果，需要在醫生指導下科學合理地服用。

核電運行中，産生放射性物質碘131﹐它是碘的放射性同位素，甲狀腺吸收後造成損傷。預先服用含有穩定碘同位素的藥片，可以阻斷人體甲狀腺對放 射性碘-131的吸收。由於碘不易在甲狀腺中積聚，短時間內就能排出體外，從而減少碘-131對人體的放射性危害。服用量是按成人在最初24小時服用一片 (相當於100毫克碘當量)，一天後服用半片，具體服用時間及方法必須發放人員指導，不可自己盲目服用。

咁講法碘片係要預先食架喎，中左招之後再食就無用，咁日本政府而家派碘片，即係叫佢地而家食定先？
