Cesc Fabregas: Chelsea player an injury concern for Man City clash

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas could be an injury concern for his side's clash with Premier League title rivals Manchester City on Saturday with a hamstring problem.

He came off during the Blues' League Cup semi-final win over Liverpool.

"Fabregas reported a tight hamstring. He said he wasn't yet injured but that he would be soon if he continued," Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho said.

Defenders Filipe Luis and Branislav Ivanovic also have injury worries.

Luis was withdrawn late on with a calf problem, while Ivanovic suffered a foot wound.

Chelsea are five points clear of second-placed City at the top of the Premier League.
