Former England manager Steve McClaren completed a remarkable return to club management by leading Dutch minnows FC Twente to the domestic title.
Going into the final day of the season McClaren's side had to match the result of Ajax if they were to claim a first league title in their 45-year history.
As it was, Twente ran out 2-0 winners at NAC Breda, courtesy of goals from Bryan Ruiz amd Chelsea loanee Miroslav Stoch.

Ajax meanwhile kept their side of the bargain with a crushing 4-0 win over NEC Nijmegen.
McClaren becomes the first English manager since Sir Bobby Robson, with Porto in 1996, to clinch a major European league title.
