Manchester United is delighted to announce the signing of Swedish international striker Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Ibrahimović, 34, made 180 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain, scoring 156 goals. He has won championships in four different leagues since beginning his professional career with Malmo in 1999. Zlatan represented his country 116 times, scoring 62 goals, before announcing his retirement from international football last month.

Zlatan Ibrahimović said:

"I am absolutely delighted to be joining Manchester United and am looking forward to playing in the Premier League. It goes without saying that I cannot wait to work with Jose Mourinho once again. He is a fantastic manager and I am ready for this new and exciting challenge. I have thoroughly enjoyed my career so far and have some great memories. I am now ready to create more special memories in England."

Jose Mourinho said:

"Zlatan needs no introduction. The statistics speak for themselves. Ibra is one of the best strikers in the world and a player who always gives 100 per cent. He has won the most important league championships in the world of football, now he has the opportunity to play in the best league in the world and I know he will grasp this opportunity and will work hard to help the team win titles. I am certain that his talent will delight fans at Old Trafford next season and that his experience will be invaluable in helping to develop the younger players in the squad."

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent hints at Premier League move

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent says the Paris Saint-Germain striker could move to England in the summer and believes his client would be perfectly suited to the Premier League.

Ibrahimovic, who played in PSG's 1-0 friendly win over his former club Inter Milan in Doha on Wednesday, has been heavily linked with a move to MLS and the Premier League.

The 34-year-old is out of contract in the summer and said on Wednesday he had no intention of leaving the French champions, but Mino Raiola told Sky Sports News HQ that England will be an option in the summer when he is a free agent.

"I would like to see him in the Premier League.  I think it's a game that is made for him with his strength. his ability, his technique, the stadiums with fantastic atmosphere and how football is lived," he said.

"It's difficult now because for the first time in his life he wants to be a free agent so that he can look around and have a feeling day by day what he wants to do.

"There are a lot of projects on our table but he has not decided yet. Can he go to England? In theory yes he can because he will be a free agent and for sure there are some clubs always interested in him. What we will do at the end, I really don't know."

When asked if any move could materialise in January, Raiola said: "No, he will definitely stay with Paris St Germain until the end of the season.

"He wants to be with them, they want to be with him. We have a very strong relationship with the club. He will not leave in January."

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has dropped a huge hint he could be on his way to the Premier League in the summer.

The Paris Saint-Germain and Sweden superstar has won titles in four different European leagues but has never played in England.

An abandoned trial at Arsenal early in his career is as close as Ibrahimovic has come to joining a Premier League club, but with his PSG deal up in the summer, the 34-year-old has hinted he is finally ready to make the move.

"I have another three months here and, then, what will happen? Big things will happen," Ibrahimovic told the English press in the mixed zone after PSG's Champions League win over Chelsea on Tuesday night.

Asked whether that meant a move to England he said: "Let's just say I am in good shape."

Ibrahimovic, Sweden's all-time leading goalscorer, has won titles in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and France.

PSG周日以9:0大炒特魯瓦後，提早8輪贏得法甲錦標。首席球星伊巴謙莫域（Zlatan Ibrahimovic）賽後發表告別宣言：「我與球迷從來有個良好關係，球會一直很照顧我，我與所有人都關係良好，這是毋庸置疑的。不過，我來季不會留在PSG，我在這兒尚餘1個半月的合約。我會享受在這兒的時光。」

近期一陣有傳包括曼聯在內的多間英超球會有意向伊巴招手，其他球會尚有他曾效力的AC米蘭及多間美職球會。談到未來去向，他說：「來年的事我不知道，現在只知來季不會在這兒。」
