Bamford in Burnley loan
NEWS TUE 30 AUG 2016

Patrick Bamford has today joined Burnley on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old forward will spend the campaign in the Premier League with the newly promoted Clarets, who were beaten 3-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Bamford arrived at Chelsea in 2012 from Nottingham Forest, becoming an England Under-21 international in late 2013 before an excellent season on loan with Middlesbrough in which he won the Championship Player of the Year award. He also has Premier League experience with Crystal Palace and Norwich City last season.
