Paul Robinson: Burnley goalkeeper extends contract with Premier League side Paul Robinson (left) will be second choice to Tom Heaton
Burnley goalkeeper Paul Robinson has signed a one-year contract with the newly promoted Premier League side. The 36-year-old joined the Clarets on a short-term deal in January to provide cover for Tom Heaton after an injury to Matt Gilks.
Robinson, who won 41 caps for England, has not played since 17 September 2014.
"He continues to work hard at his profession and his wealth of experience is hugely beneficial to the team," boss Sean Dyche told the club website.
Robinson, who won the last of his England caps in 2007, has played for Leeds, Tottenham and Blackburn in a career that has seen him make more than 400 appearances over 18 years.
