Football matches could be played away from London when sport resumes because of  the capital’s relatively high incidence of coronavirus cases.

Talks between the stakeholders including the Premier League, Football Association and EFL have included the possibility of taking games to alternative venues in the process of returning to action safely.

The decision on where to stage matches when the season eventually restarts is likely to be driven by the data on the spread of Covid-19. At the weekend it was recorded that London had 39 per cent of the UK’s 5,018 confirmed cases.

With English football suspended until at least April 30 – and that date is likely to be extended – the suitability of venues for the remaining matches is an issue.

Tottenham, Arsenal and West Ham’s stadiums hold more than 60,000 spectators, while Wembley reaches 90,000 at capacity. Whether matches need to be held elsewhere has been discussed over the past week between administrators after football closed its doors to allow the pandemic to be tackled.

Neutral grounds for league matches would be one solution should football be moved from the capital.

While it would affects matchday income from hosting matches, the statement from the FA, Premier League and EFL outlined “a commitment to finding ways of resuming the 2019-20 season” after they met last week.

Wembley is also due to host the EFL play-offs and the FA Cup final in showpiece events of the season. London’s big stadiums also host concerts or, in the London Stadium’s case, Major League Baseball, bringing in further income for the hosts.

The postponement of Euro 2020 for a year has allowed time for this season to be completed, but it is uncertain when football will return or how matches will be played. Staging matches behind closed doors is one measure being considered.

Spain have become the latest country to put football on hold, having announced that La Liga and other matches are suspended.

阿迪達（Mikel Arteta）染病後，間接令英超及其他英格蘭足球賽事暫停，「我現在非常好，感覺已經痊癒了。感染後3至4天，我才感到情況有好轉，回復力量，以及不再出現任何病徵。現在，我真的很好。」

阿迪達透露是帶領阿仙奴在歐霸盃出戰奧林比亞高斯後感到不適，後者班主馬連基斯在阿迪達確診前已感染了新型冠狀病毒：「所有事發生得很快。我們跟奧軍很多球員都有接觸，而且之後要鬥曼城，所以不能夠隱瞞。」

阿迪達將會回歸工作崗，由於英超正停擺，或許暫時會專心來季組軍。盛傳他已經決定放棄5名一隊成員，分別是後衛梅斯達菲、柏巴斯達普路斯、高拿舒亞、翼鋒米希達恩、防中艾拿利。

英超熱刺證實孫興民及貝雲積獲准回國

英超熱刺證實，前鋒孫興民已經獲淮返回南韓。熱刺發表聲明，說孫興民是基於個人原因回國，據報他及父母星期日抵達首爾，將按照南韓政府的規定，隔離兩星期，而孫興民星期一開始，將會透過視像，參與球隊的遙距培訓。孫興民上月在對阿士東維拉的賽事中受傷，手臂骨折，之後獲准返回南韓接受手術，重返英國時已經因為疫情自我隔離14天。熱刺另一名前鋒貝雲積，就因為要迎接BB出世，七已經返回荷蘭。至於隊長哈利卡尼就表明，雖然深愛熱刺，但如果球隊一直無進展，不排除會離開。哈利卡尼同熱刺合約期去到2024年，他接受傳媒訪問時說，自己是一個雄心勃勃的球員，想進步並變得更好，成為頂級球員，他不會說自己將永遠留在熱刺，如果認為球隊並非正在前進，或者向正確方向前進，不會為留低而留低。

The three divisions of England's National League have been suspended indefinitely because of coronavirus.

The competition had been originally postponed until 3 April but that has now been extended following a board meeting on Tuesday.

It comes after all non-league football in steps three to seven was ended immediately on Thursday with no promotion or relegation.

The National League said it was looking at "how best to conclude" the season.

But it is not yet known if the competition, which is made up of the National League, National League North and National League South, will also be cancelled with all results expunged.

"The National League is currently obtaining specialist legal advice, is consulting regularly with the Football Association and other stakeholders, and is committed to involving its member clubs in a pending decision on how best to conclude the 2019-20 season," a statement said.

More than 100 clubs have sent an open letter to the FA, calling for it to "urgently" reconsider the decision to expunge seasons from the men's seventh tier and the women's third tier downwards.

The decision is yet to be ratified by the FA Council.

Barrow are four points clear at the top of the National League, with fifth-tier clubs having between seven and 10 league fixtures remaining to complete the season.

英超熱刺550名非球員員工未來兩個月減薪20%

英超熱刺宣布，球會550名非球員員工，將會在4月和5月減薪2成，幫助球會在新型肺炎疫情下，共度難關。熱刺主席利維發表聲明，提到球會實際運作已經停止，部分球迷失去工作，大多數人都在擔心自己的未來。球會需要共同努力，確保今次危機不會影響未來的穩定。利維說，世界上一些最大的球會，例如巴塞羅那、拜仁慕尼黑及祖雲達斯，已經開始減省開支。熱刺雖然在一些調查中，是全球收入第八高的球會，但這些數據不再重要，在對非球員員工採取相應減薪措施後，球員和教練亦應該共度時艱。除了熱刺之外，紐卡素當地星期一宣布，所有非球員員工疫情期間暫時休假，是英超首支球隊採取相關措施。

【Now Sports】般尼茅夫周三宣佈領隊艾迪賀維自願減薪，成為英超第一人。

新型冠狀病毒於歐洲的疫情愈來愈嚴重，英超將暫停至4月30日，更有機會延長停擺。在沒有比賽收入的情況下，不少球會都面對財政問題，熱刺日前就宣佈550名員工都需要減薪20%。

般尼茅夫主帥艾迪賀維（Eddie Howe）、副手田達爾、CEO比歷克，一隊技術總監李察曉士都自願接受，在疫情結束前大幅度減薪，以協助球隊度過這個艱難時刻。

般茅在聲明中表示：「現時就像足球比賽一樣，沒有必勝的戰術，作為球會的管理層，我們一直尋求方法去保證球會的將來，以及確保當比賽重時，我們的員工能夠獲得保證。」

在疫情影響下，英超以至到歐聯及歐霸盃都暫停。28歲的比利時球星迪布尼發現，自己無法長期足不出戶。他與太太說，當賽事恢復後，他會延長球員生涯，想踢多兩年。他發覺留在家中實在太難受；不過，迪布尼強調，現時疫情仍然嚴峻，留在家比較安全。

曼城領隊哥迪奧拿透過視像通訊軟件監測球員在家操練的情況，希望他們保持到狀態。

【Now Sports】效力熱刺的韓國球星孫興敏，將會在本月向韓國海軍陸戰隊報到，接受為期3星期的訓練。

比甲宣布腰斬賽季由布魯日封王　球隊或喪失歐洲賽資格

比利時甲組聯賽成為在歐洲因應新型肺炎疫情，首個宣布腰斬的足球聯賽賽事，由在榜首有15分優勢的布魯日封王。賽會的聲明指出，認為在任何情況之下，比甲賽事都無可能可以6月30日前重開，因此宣布有關決定。歐洲足協表示有信心在數月時間內，會符合重開球賽的條件，所有提早停止賽季的決定都是過早與無道理。比利時甲組賽事在未經歐洲足協同意下，宣布停止賽季，好可能會令被禁止參加歐洲賽事，意味即使布魯日奪冠，都不可以參加來屆的歐聯賽事。
