West Ham will return for Kevin Mirallas this week after their £6million bid was rejected over the weekend. The Hammers are confident of landing the 27-year-old - a long-time target - and see him as the perfect replacement for 30-year-old Stewart Downing. Everton are understood to have admitted defeat in their fight to keep Mirallas and will want around £8million for him. The Belgian has just a year left on his contract but, despite attempts by the Toffees to tie him to a new deal, he has refused to commit his future to the Goodison Park side.
West Ham are exciting at the prospect of the goalscoring winger adding more potency to their attack and providing options for boss Slaven Bilic.
