Blackburn are set to sign Jonathan Greening from Fulham on a season-long loan.
According to The Daily Mirror, 31 year old Greening is not in new Fulham boss Mark Hughes’ plans and Rovers have been cleared to speak to him.
Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is keen to add more players to his small squad and with Andranik’s move falling through on work permit technicalities, Greening’s versatility would help.
Rovers are also understood to be interested in Boltons Matthew Taylor with Wanderers boss Owen Coyle ready to listen to offers for the versatile 28-year-old.
Taylor signed a new contract last year at Bolton but is thought to be available for around the £2 million mark.
