Transfer news: Silvestre Varela and Sebastian Blanco set for West Brom exit Silvestre Varela and Sebastian Blanco are both on the verge of leaving West Brom. Portugal international winger Varela, 29, joined Albion on a season-long loan from Porto in August but has started just three Premier League games for the club. He has scored just one goal in a total of nine appearances and new boss Tony Pulis has allowed the deal to be scrapped early.
Varela is now expected to join Parma on loan from Porto for the remainder of the season and he trained with the Italian club on Tuesday.

Blanco, who also joined the Baggies in August when Alan Irvine was head coach, is expected to move to San Lorenzo in his native Argentina on loan. Blanco, 26, signed a two-year deal at The Hawthorns after moving from Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkiv in the summer but has not started in the Premier League, making just five appearances in all competitions.
