Milan discuss Rami, Torres, Van Ginkel



Milan Channel are “considering” Monaco’s offer for Adil Rami, while Fernando Torres and Marco van Ginkel “are still deciding.”

The official television station for the club gave some important updates on the transfer situation this afternoon.

They revealed that Monaco have made a formal offer for defender Rami and that Milan are “considering” the proposal.

It would be a surprise to sell Rami, as he took a pay cut and gave up on bonuses to help his transfer go through from Valencia last month.

Milan Channel also reiterated their offers to take Chelsea duo Torres and Van Ginkel on loan, but they are “still deciding” whether or not to accept.

The same channel also noted today that Milan are ?2.5m away from agreeing to the Torres terms.

Rami: 'No thanks, Monaco'

Adil Rami responded via Twitter to an offer from Monaco and warned “I won’t be leaving Milan.”

This afternoon Milan Channel – the official television station of the club – announced that AS Monaco had made a formal proposal for Rami.

However, the ex-Valencia man took to Twitter this evening in order to clarify his position.

“Thanks to everyone for your messages, really, BUT I am a Rossonero and I’m not leaving Milan. #ForzaMilan with all due respect for Monaco.”

The defender had already made clear how much he wanted to stay at San Siro after a six-month loan spell by taking a pay cut and shelling out ?0.5m to help Milan buy him from Valencia this summer.
