Bulls coach Del Negro soon to be fired
Vinny Del Negro has had since June of 2008 to impress the fans and big bosses of the Chicago Bulls. Apparently, it has not worked out so well for him.
The word on the street, according to ESPN, is that Del Negro will soon be canned and the only thing holding up the process is that the Bulls haven't found his replacement yet. He's "led" the team to an 11-17 record so far this season.
The rumor is that the Bulls are trying to figure out what coach would be most appealing to the blockbuster bunch of free agents that becoming available this summer. What will likely happen, though, is one assistant or another (Bernie Bickerstaff or Pete Myers) will take over.
