Chelsea, done deal for Real Madrid's Morata

Alvaro Morata is about to become a new Chelsea player.
After this Wednesday morning's contacts, both club have found an agreement: the player is ready to leave Real Madrid's summer retreat to join the English champions' one.
Conte will welcome him after he missed his chance to train him when he left Juventus in 2014.

Sky sources understand Chelsea are close to agreeing a deal with Real Madrid to sign Alvaro Morata.

Manchester United had been in talks to sign Morata but refused to meet Real’s ?80m (£70.6m) asking price.

They eventually signed Romelu Lukaku instead.

Chelsea were also interested in Lukaku and having missed out on the Belgium international they have turned their attention to alternate targets.

They made their decisive move for Morata today after being told that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Sergio Aguero are not for sale.

Chelsea Football Club and Real Madrid have agreed terms for the transfer of Alvaro Morata to Stamford Bridge.

The move is now subject to him agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.

Morata, 24, is a Spanish international forward, and helped Real to lift a second successive Champions League last season.

Chelsea have announced they have agreed a fee with Real Madrid for the transfer of Alvaro Morata.

The move is now subject to the 24-year-old agreeing personal terms and passing a medical, according to a statement released by Chelsea.

The Spain international will arrive in London on Thursday morning and is expected to sign a five-year contract once he passes his medical.

Manchester United had been in talks to sign Morata prior to the signing of Chelsea target Romelu Lukaku, but they refused to pay Real's £70.7m (?80m) asking price.
