塞爾特雙星正式投籃網 KG穿2號球衣

【now.com體育】波士頓塞爾特人球員加尼特（KG）、皮亞斯、積遜泰利以及DJ維特轉會布魯克林籃網的交易，於美國時間周五正式落實。

「我們很興奮，歡迎奇雲（加尼特）、保羅（皮亞斯）和積遜（泰利）來到布魯克林。」籃網經理比利京治（Billy King）說，「這3位球員有冠軍血統，擁有豐富的經驗，這會讓我們變成一支強隊。」 37歲的加尼特和35歲的皮雅斯，是塞爾特人贏取2008年總冠軍及2010年再闖決賽的主要功臣，來季他們將在籃網新教練傑特帶領下，再次衝擊冠軍指環。40歲的傑特上月由球員身份變成籃網主帥。 籃網大老闆普羅賀羅夫（Mikhail Prokhorov）亦對新人表示了歡迎，他在聲明中說：「今天籃球之神對著籃網微笑，加尼特和皮亞斯的到來，讓我們的陣容更加平均，這將成為一支耀眼的隊伍，而且很難被擊倒。」 另外，KG在籃網將披上2號球衣，以紀念因交通意外喪生的前木狼隊友施利（Malik Sealy）。

Teague still a Hawk, team matches Bucks offer


Jeff Teague is still a member of the Atlanta Hawks.


The teammatched the four-year, $32 million offer sheet from the Bucks onSaturday. The point guard, disillusioned with the progress ofnegotiations, signed the offer sheet on Wednesday. The Hawks had threedays to match the offer and keep Teague in Atlanta at $8 million aseason or let him go to Milwaukee. Teague would have been reunited withformer Hawks coach Larry Drew.

Metta World Peace, Knicks agree on 2-yr deal

Metta World Peace and the Knicks have reportedly agreed on a two-year contract, with the second year a player option.
Metta had a good deal of fun during his brief free agency, suggesting that he might join Yao Ming's team in China or coach in the Arena Football League, but the Knicks were always thought to be the favorite to sign him. Presumably he'll come off the bench as a backup SF behind Carmelo Anthony, though the two could play together whenever Melo shifts to PF, where he had lasting success last year.

Elton Brand signs one-year deal w/ Hawks

Elton Brand has signed a one-year, $4 million deal with the Hawks.
The Hawks lost out on Zaza Pachulia and they really needed some depth up front. It's a good landing spot for Brand and he'll play behind Al Horford and Paul Millsap at the four and five spots. The 34-year-old big man's minutes dropped from 28.9 in 2011-12 to 21.3 in 2012-13 and he'll likely have a minute allotment between the two in Atlanta.
