Everton are set to make a £20m move for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.

Giroud, 30, is almost certain to be on the move as Arsenal are ready to complete a £44m-plus move for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has targeted Giroud with Romelu Lukaku a target for Chelsea and his own future from certain.

West Ham and Marseille are also interested in Giroud who only signed a new contract in January taking him up to 2020.

But while Giroud has always fought for his future in the past, his chances could now be severely limited in the future with Lacazette coming in.

Everton are already on a big spending spree having got Jordan Pickford from Sunderland for £30m and they also want Swansea's Gylfi Sigurdsson with a move for Burnley's Michael Keane also imminent.

據英媒報道，阿仙奴正準備以4400萬鎊收購拿卡錫迪，同時，愛華頓亦計劃以2000萬鎊羅致30歲的基奧特（Olivier Giroud），據悉韋斯咸及馬賽均有興趣邀請該法國中鋒加盟。

然而，基奧特卻透露不希望離開北倫敦。「在我生涯只贏過少量錦標，這確是一項重要的事，但還有其他事，對我來說也很在乎。」基奧特周一接受阿仙奴官網訪問時說，「這就是人們看到你是一名球場的忠心勇士，總會為球隊付上所有。就是這個原因，為何我要繼續效力阿仙奴，因我總想展示出我最佳表現。」

「我很期待在我合約期滿前，贏得錦標。我滿懷推動力，總想展現出自己最好一面，讓家人感到自豪。」基奧特續說。法國人於本年初續約至2020年，但可以預期，假如拿卡錫迪來投，而基奧特選擇留效的話，出場時間只會減少。

Everton are ready to step up their interest in Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud as Romelu Lukaku prepares to complete his world record transfer to Manchester United.

Lukaku is expected to finalise his switch to Old Trafford in the next 24 hours after United agreed a deal worth £100m for the Belgian.

Everton are due to confirm the signing of Wayne Rooney, but will look to strengthen further following Lukaku's exit.

And Giroud, the France international, is right at the top of their list.

The 30-year-old is expected to leave Arsenal this summer, with the Gunners already having spent big on bringing Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.

He is valued at around £20m, and Blues boss Ronald Koeman believes he would be the perfect addition to his squad.

Everton have already added Sandro Ramirez to their ranks this summer, while Henry Onyekuru was loaned to Anderlecht after signing from Eupen.

But Koeman is aware of the need for different forward options. Lukaku's 26 goals last season made him the Premier League's second most prolific marksman, but no other Everton player managed more than six in all competitions.

Arouna Kone has already left the club, while Oumar Niasse will be sold too.

Everton know they face competition if they are to land Giroud, with Marseille strongly interested, but are willing to test the waters for a player who has scored 98 goals across five seasons with Arsenal.

The Blues also remain interested in Gylfi Sigurdsson, though Swansea are adamant the Iceland star is not for sale, while the situation surrounding Bournemouth forward Josh King, who netted 16 goals last season, is being closely monitored.

The deal for Lukaku is expected to go through before the weekend is out, with Everton pocketing a £75m up-front fee for the 24-year-old.

They have also agreed £15m in performance-related add-ons, while United have agreed to waive their £10m valuation of Rooney so that he can return to Merseyside. Both deals are expected to go through with no further hitches.

France striker Olivier Giroud is in demand and faces a big decision on his future. Wenger has always been reluctant to let him go but he knows in World Cup year he cannot afford not to be playing after Lacazette’s arrival.

Everton and West Ham are both in for him but it is believes that he would prefer a switch back to France with Marseille leading the chase, although Arsenal would want in excess of £30m.

Meanwhile, a third club is monitoring developments over the future of Olivier Giroud. The Frenchman, 30, has attracted interest from Everton and Marseille, following the arrival of £52m new boy Alexandre Lacazette.
AC Milan are now understood to be keeping tabs on the situation although Giroud’s presence in the party travelling Down Under is the clearest indication yet that no move is imminent.
Lacazette was also on the plane, along with Mesut Ozil, who had been linked with a move away from Arsene Wenger’s side.
Giroud’s future is in doubt after Lacazette’s arrival but the fact he has made the 12,000-mile trip suggests the Frenchman wants to stay and fight for his place.
Alexis Sanchez, who has been linked with a switch to Manchester City, and Shkodran Mustafi have both been given extended leave following their participation in the Confederations Cup while Lucas Perez has stayed behind to continue negotiations with Deportivo La Coruna.
Arsenal’s other new arrival, Sead Kolasinac, boarded the flight to Australia on Sunday, but there was no place in the group for Mathieu Debuchy, Kieran Gibbs or Carl Jenkinson, which signals their likely departures.
