Kieran joined the Clarets in January, 2012, signing a three-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee following a successful loan spell from Manchester City at the start of the 2011/12 campaign.
The highly-rated right-back came previously through the youth ranks at Eastlands, helping City win the FA Youth Cup in 2008 before appearing at reserve-team level.
He then made a big impact as a regular with Barnsley during a season-long loan spell at Oakwell in 2010/11.
As a reward for his hard work and commitment during his loan spell with the Tykes, Trippier was presented with Barnsley's Young Player of the Year Award.
And the England under-21 international then went one better with Burnley as he was named as the Clarets' Player of the Year following an outstanding first season at Turf Moor.
In May 2013, Kieran capped another solid year with a nomination for the PFA Championship team of the year, which he received at the annual awards ceremony in London.
The 2013/14 season was no different for Trippier as his impressive performances lead him to be named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year for the second year running.
He contributed a remarkable 14 assists and was also part of a defence which kept 19 clean sheets throughout the season.
In May 2014, Kieran committed his future to Burnley Football Club by signing a new three-year contract.
The right-back had one year left on his existing deal but extended his stay until the summer of 2017.
