La Liga side Valencia have agreed a deal with Fenerbahce for 29-year-old Portuguese winger Nani.The Turkish giants also had interest from Everton but the Spanish side have agreed to pay the player's £7million release clause and he is expected to sign after the European Championship.Nani is currently part of the Portugal side out in France preparing for their Euro 2016 quarter-final clash with Poland in Marseille on Thursday. Despite seeing his team in the last eight of a major tournament, Nani is understood to have already agreed a contract in principle, paving the way for a move to the Mestalla.
Nani, who will play against Poland on Thursday night after impressing at Euro 2016 so far, signed for Manchester United back in 2007 for £19million after spending two years at Sporting Lisbon.
He went on to make 147 appearances and score 25 goals in an eight year spell with the club, winning four Premier League titles and two League Cups along the way.
His Champions League triumph with the Red Devils in Moscow in 2008 was the highlight of his time at Old Trafford but after an initial loan spell back at Sporting in 2014, Nani moved to Fenerbahce in 2015. He's gone on to make 33 appearances for the Turkish side, scoring nine goals.
Playing in Turkey Nani may have slipped out of the reckoning for some Premier League clubs, but Euro 2016 has been a timely reminder of the qualities he possesses.
Nani has played in all four of Portugal's games at Euro 2016 so far, spending 380 minutes on the pitch and scoring two goals to boot.
