Confirmed: Wolves complete deal to bring midfielder to MolineuxThe latest WWFC transfer news includes this update
Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed a move that will bring Oxford United midfielder Tsun Dai to the club.
The Hong Kong born youngster also holds a British passport and is eligible for either international side.
The 19-year-old only joined Oxford last summer from Bury on a two-year deal but is now on the move again.
Reports from Oxford Mail confirm that Wolves have clinched a deal for Dai for an undisclosed fee.
Dai spent the second half of last season in Netherlands' second tier playing for Utrecht's reserves. He made 12 appearances for them, registering two assists.
He came through the academy at Reading before making the switch to Bury in 2017. He did break into the first team at Gigg Lane, playing 11 times and scoring once.
Dai becomes another signing for Scott Sellars' academy sides: Raphael Nya, Hong Wan and Lee Harkin have all came in this summer to help supplement the development sides at Compton.
He will fly out to Spain with Rob Edwards' U-23 side, speaking about the new arrival Edwards said: “Dai arrived here at the start of the month and has already settled into the group well. He’s a midfield player who wants to try and get on the ball and he’s got lots of energy.
“He’s got a good personality and will get an opportunity, like all of our players in the under-23s, to show what he can do.
