CITY DEAL IN DANNY

City have agreed to sign Tottenham Hotspur winger Danny Rose on a youth loan deal.
It means the 20-year-old will move to Ashton Gate for the remainder of the 2010/11 campaign, subject to a recall clause available to the Premier League side which becomes active after the first 28 days of the loan deal.
A product of Leeds United's Academy, Danny shot to prominance when he scored a wonder goal for Tottenham on his debut against North London rivals Arsenal - a stunning volley which Sky Sports acknowledged as the top flight's goal of last season.
It remains the promising youngster's only club goal to date, having previously spent time on loan with Watford and Peterborough United during 2009.
Danny has bagged five goals for his country, however, having earned caps for England at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level.
He still remains part of the Under-21 set-up with City assistant boss Steve Wigley, and actually scored at Ashton Gate last month in England's 2-0 friendly win over Uzbekistan.
Danny has been given squad number 35, but will not be in the travelling party to Scunthorpe United this weekend due to a slight ankle injury suffered on England duty. He is expected to be fit to face Watford next Tuesday.
The deal is subject to Football League clearance.
