Tottenham defender Vlad Chiriches nears exit as talks with Italian side Napoli loom

• Chiriches joined Tottenham for a fee of £6.8million from Steaua Bucharest

Napoli have moved to beat Fiorentina to Tottenham Hotspur defender Vlad Chiriches.
The 25-year-old is due to hold talks on Tuesday about a move from the Barclays Premier League to Serie A.
Chiriches had previously been linked with Roma during the January transfer window, but opted to remain in north London with Tottenham.
Yet his move to Italy is finally set to happen, which would end his two-year stay at White Hart Lane, where he made 27 appearances in the Premier League.
Chiriches joined Tottenham for a fee of £6.8million from Steaua Bucharest
Fiorentina were looking at Chiriches as a replacement for Stefan Savic, who joined Atletico Madrid this week.

Vlad Chririches is on his way to Napoli.

The defender reached an agreement with the Partenopei on a 5 year deal, he is now on his way to take his medical and join his new teammates in Dimario.
