- Brazilian midfielder featured 11 times last season under Louis van Gaal
- He will become the fourth United player to leave the club this week
Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira is close to joining La Liga side Granada on loan as the exodus of youngsters continues under Jose Mourinho.
Pereira, 20, was due to fly to Spain on Thursday night to complete the move after being told by Mourinho his first-team OPPORTUNITIES would be limited at Old Trafford in this campaign.
He will become the fourth United player to leave the club this week following the departures of James Wilson, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Tyler Blackett. In total, 13 players have left since Mourinho replaced Louis van Gaal and decided he needed to reduce the size of the first-team squad.
Pereira has made 14 first-team appearances for United, scoring one goal, and represented Brazil under-20s. He is tipped for a big future in the game because of his technical ability and speed over the ground.
Granada narrowly avoided relegation from La Liga last season and started the current campaign with a 1-1 draw against Villarreal over the weekend.
There may yet be more outs at United before the transfer window closes. Goalkeeper Joel Pereira, 20, has been told he can go on loan to gain experience.
Pereira played for Portugal at this summer's Toulon Tournament and was named goalkeeper of the tournament following an impressive list of past winners including Hugo Lloris of Tottenham and France.
