Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola will meet in the EFL Cup fourth round as Manchester United draw Manchester City at Old Trafford. Guardiola has already seen success in the Manchester derby earlier this season when his side dominated in a 2-1 win against United on September 10, and he will again meet his old rival Mourinho in the week commencing October 24.
Last season's finalists Liverpool will host Tottenham Hotspur in the other eye-catching tie of the draw, while Antonio Conte's Chelsea will travel across the capital to take on West Ham at the London Stadium. Elsewhere, Arsenal will play Reading at the Emirates after beating Sky Bet Championship side Nottingham Forest 4-0 at the City Ground. Hull City have been rewarded for their late win over Stoke with a trip to Bristol City, while Sunderland will take the long journey south to face Southampton, who beat fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace 2-0 on Wednesday.
There are two all Sky Bet Championship ties as Leeds host Alex Neil's Norwich side, while Preston North End travel to the north east to take on Rafa Benitez's Newcastle.
Full fourth-round draw:
West Ham v Chelsea
Manchester United v Manchester City
Arsenal v Reading
Liverpool v Tottenham
