Juventus recently appointed Pavel Nedved as a director and member of the board and former club president and now CEO Jean-Claude Blanc has clarified the Czech's role, calling him an 'ambassador' for the Bianconeri.
"Nedved on the board? We wanted give more power to all parts of the club, create a direct link between the board and the team," he told Sky Sport 24.
"He will help us with his experience and be the ambassador of Juventus. The door has been open for Pavel since the end of his career and he was aware of this."
Nedved spent eight years with Juventus, including one in Serie B following the Calciopoli scandal of 2006, and retired in 2009. He was a fan favourite for the Turin giants and won the Ballon d'Or in 2003.
