Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa has travelled to London after receiving an invitation to train with Premier League side Fulham.
Ochoa was in Mexico's World Cup squad, but played second fiddle to the 37-year-old Oscar Perez. Now, the Club America goalkeeper could be set to earn himself a contract with the Cottagers, who have just signed up veteran Australian Mark Schwarzer to a new deal.
Club America are now waiting to see if the Cottagers want to start negotiations over a transfer for the 25-year-old.
"Our goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa has travelled to London after accepting the invitation he has received from Fulham and the manager Mark Hughes," a club statement read. "Our club has been in touch all the time with Ochoa, who is enjoying his holidays, and that's why he has accepted the invitation he has received from Fulham.
"America will be aware of the results of this invitation and, in case there is a negotiation between both clubs, we will let the press know once they have finished.''
