another method

BCH= 6
BEH = 9
GHC = 4

EGH= 6
EGC = 10
FGE= 10

so ans = FGE + EGH = 16

Triangle HGC is similar to triangle HBE
CH:HE = CG:BE = 2:3
Note that triangle CHB and triangle HEB has the same height
Therefore area of CHB:area of HEB=2:3
