A thought
A thought and possible reason for the bench feature is the fact that many of the Premier teams rotate their players; gone are the days when teams played their top 11 players week in week out – these poor modern day players need to rest.
So, you can spend 145 on your outfield and risk a player, possibly captain, not playing with no back up…or spend a little less, still assemble a great team, but a player ready to step into the breach.
To me, it just gives the game an extra dimension and more to think about.
It seems everyone was happy till someone from another site posted his doom and gloom post and everyone jumped on the bandwagon like little sheep.
This is a game, just enjoy it.

我諗其實佢地有部份人唔鍾意呢個改版，只係話事個班人支持同埋堅決推行，想隻 game 易玩 d ，反對既人除左好友之外，仲有香港其他壇，外國既亦有 starting 11...
