Lambert refused to give any hints if Bent will start on Sunday with Christian Benteke suspended after his red card in the 2-1 defeat to Chelsea last week.
“I’ll pick a team I think can go and win. That’s me being fair to everyone,” he added.
Bent revealed his frustration at being a bit-part player this week after he was again left on the bench against Chelsea.
Benteke has kept him sidelined and the £24m striker has played 22 times this season, scoring just five goals.
But Lambert reiterated he had no problem with the ex-Sunderland hitman.
“The situation is the same as it was. Darren knows where my office is and he can knock on my door and speak to me,” he said.
其實 lambert 唔肯講出唔出佢，如果照計位換位的話，好似奴奴話齋，就應該出佢既。不過佢 summer 應該實走，始終都有的風險。
不過你列出果三個人都一樣有風險，如果照正選機會黎計，shelvey 應該最大。如果以爆分機會黎計，borini 應該最高。所以真係好視乎你想穩定搏。我自己暫時傾向係搏，始終都係骨頭價錢，搏衰都應該唔會好傷……
