Chelsea target Fabio Coentrao wants to move to Spurs
FABIO COENTRAO wants to leave Real Madrid to join Tottenham, according to sources in Spain.
Real Madrid want £20m for Fabio Coentrao
The 25-year-old Portuguese defender has found it hard to settle in Madrid since making the move from Benfica in 2011.Chelsea had shown an interest in snapping him up but Coentrao is keen on making a move to rivals Tottenham.Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is a big fan of the left-back and is urging chairman Daniel Levy to pull out his chequebook again in order to sign him.Gareth Bale is destined to leave Spurs for Madrid in a world-record deal but any possible deal for Coentrao will be conducted separately from negotiations for the Welshman.Real Madrid are believed to value Coentrao at around £20m.
