Tottenham have agreed new long-term contracts with forwards Son Heung-min and Erik Lamela.

South Korea international, Son, 26, has signed a new five-year deal until 2023 while Argentine Lamela, 26, has penned a four-year extension until 2022.

Son joined Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, and has scored 47 goals in 140 appearances for the north London side.

Lamela, arrived from AS Roma in 2013 and has registered 23 goals in 154 games for the club.

Son who scored twice during this summer's World Cup, including one in South Korea's shock win over Germany, featured in 53 of Tottenham's 55 matches in all competitions last term.

In 2017, he became the top Asian scorer in Premier League history, overtaking former Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung's tally of 19 goals. Son's total now stands at 30 in 99 top-flight appearances.

Lamela's involvement with Mauricio Pochettino's side has been restricted over the past 18 months because of hip problems.

He returned from injury last November as a substitute against Leicester City, but started just 12 times in his 33 appearances during 2017-18.

Lamela, who won the last of his 23 caps for Argentina in 2016, did score twice in the club's 5-4 final-day victory over the Foxes, however.

熱刺剛透過官方社交網絡，宣佈與現年26歲的孫興民（Son Heung-Min）續約5年，至2023年為止。這續約並沒令人意外，因為近年在英超戰績理想的熱刺接連與將帥續約，早前便有主帥普捷天奴及射手哈利卡尼，銳意保持既有班底，以強勢爭取更佳成績。

自從2015年從利華古遜加盟至今，孫興民已為熱刺上陣140場攻入47球，表現甚佳。熱刺同時證實這位鋒將因參戰亞運，將會缺席球季部份賽事。亞運足球賽於8月14日展開，是英超開鑼4天後的事。

26歲的孫興民被徵召為韓國今次亞運男足大軍的3名超齡球員之一，雖然亞運並非國際足協的賽事，因此熱刺有權不放人，但孫興民意屬出戰，因為只要為韓國贏得金牌，就可以獲得免除服兵役，令他不用在球員生涯的黃金時期，短暫離開，這樣一來熱刺也得益。

熱刺在周日戰畢的世界盃，一共有9名球員殺入4強，因此他們現在才剛放暑假，就算來得及在英超開鑼前歸隊，也未必有足夠狀態出戰，所以這支北倫敦球隊於季初的表現及人腳，令人擔心。
