Sky: Ribery to join Fiorentina

Sky Sport Italia is among the Italian sources now reporting Franck Ribery has agreed to join Fiorentina.

Sky journalists Gianluca di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano both report Ribery will sign a two-year contract with Fiorentina and undergo a medical on Wednesday.

That is corroborated by Niccolo Ceccarini and Alfredo Pedulla, the latter of whom adds the Frenchman will earn ?4m plus ?500,000 bonuses in each of his two season with the Viola.

Tancredi Palmeri, Tuttomercatoweb and La Repubblica, on the other hand, maintain negotiations – while very close to concluding – are still at the final details.

The winger, who turned 36 in April, will move to the Artemio Franchi on a free transfer following his exit from Bayern Munich earlier in the summer.
