Sky Bet Championship: Leeds release seven players, including Brown and Diouf 
Sky Bet Championship outfit Leeds United have released seven players including Michael Brown, El-Hadji Diouf and Luke Varney. The 37-year-old Brown made 13 starts this season
while Senegal international Diouf has not featured since January and they join goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown, Adam Drury, Paul Green, Danny Pugh and Varney in departing Elland Road at the end of their deals.
United have taken up the option to extend the contracts of Alex Cairns and Afolabi Coker
while young professionals Charlie Taylor and Ross Killock have been offered new contracts at the club.
But young professionals Simon Lenighan, Nathan Turner, Lewis Turner, Richard Bryan, Smith Tiesse and Gboly Ariyibi will be released.
