Neymar Jr picked up an injury in the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid.

The player sustained a contusion that caused an edema in the fourth metatarsal of his left foot.

The player will begin treatment and will be out of action for four weeks.

If Neymar will be able to participate in the last match of the season, against Atletico Madrid, if recovers in the estimated time.

This is Neymar’s second injury this season. He sustained a tendon sprain in the 1/8 round of the Cup, against Getafe.

The left back sustained a muscle tear in the hamstring of his right leg

The first team returned to training this afternoon after yesterday’s Cup final in Mestalla, and they did it without Jordi Alba.
The player picked up a muscle tear in the biceps femoris of his right leg and will be out of action between three to four weeks.
If he recovers in the estimated time, he’ll be fit to play against Atletico Madrid in the last game of the season.

One of the protagonists in the Cup final, Marc Bartra, was also unable to take part in the training session due to a strained hamstring.
The goalscorer worked apart from the group and his availability for selection for Sunday’s match against Athletic Club depends on his recovery.

The coaching staff called up four defenders from Barca B to train with the first team. Thus Sergi Gomez, Carles Planas, Edgar Ie and Frank Bagnack trained with Tata Martino’s men.

Neymar: I won't miss World Cup

Brazilian football star Neymar said Friday he would be well enough to play in the FIFA World Cup™ in June despite a foot injury that could
force him to miss the rest of the club season. The 22-year-old Barcelona forward injured his left foot Wednesday during a 2-1 defeat
to Real Madrid in Spain's Copa del Rey final.

Barcelona said Thursday he would be on the sideline for four weeks and could miss the rest of the club season.
With less than two months to go, Neymar however promised to be healthy on time to play in the World Cup.

"I always had a bit of fear that the injury would force me to stay out ... of the World Cup," Neymar told Globo TV.
"But within the next three weeks I'll be back and I hope to play Barcelona's last game."

Brazil coach Felipe Scolari plans for Neymar to lead his country's hopes for a sixth World Cup title on home soil in June.
In the meantime Neymar will stay in shape by exercising with weights and in the pool,
the medical department of Brazil's national team said after talking with Barcelona.

"It's horrible to be out, without training, without playing, and to see your comrades playing and training," he told Globo.
