Reds to meet Real Madrid
• Match is part of this summer’s Tour 2014, presented by Aon
• United v Real Madrid, presented by Chevrolet, to take place in MichiganManchester United has today announced that the team will play Real Madrid as part of Tour 2014, presented by Aon.
The match will take place at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan on Saturday 2 August 2014. The stadium, nicknamed ‘The Big House’, is the largest stadium in the United States with an official capacity of 109,901.
Manchester United’s automotive partner Chevrolet will be the presenting partner for this fixture. The upcoming pre-season tour will be the first time that the United team will play in Chevrolet-branded shirts as the global automobile manufacturer embarks on its seven-year partnership as the club’s new shirt sponsor.
This match will be part of the 2014 International Champions Cup. Further details about United’s matches for Tour 2014, presented by Aon, will be announced in due course.
United and Real Madrid last met in the 2012/13 season with Madrid winning 3-2 on aggregate in the UEFA Champions League second round.

Chevrolet is the presenting partner of Manchester United versus Real Madrid.
