Sweden striker Markus Rosenberg has West Brom contract cancelled




Markus Rosenberg has left West Brom after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.

The Sweden striker is free to look for a new club after featuring just six times for Albion since the start of the season.

Rosenberg was brought in on a free transfer in the summer of 2012 but failed to establish himself as a regular starter.

The 31-year-old leaves The Hawthorns without a goal in his 33 appearances.

An Albion statement read: "The club would like to thank Markus for his efforts over the past 18 months and wishes him well in his future career."

Striker now a free agent

MARKUS Rosenberg has had his Albion contract cancelled by mutual consent and is now a free agent.

After joining the club on a Bosman transfer in August 2012, Rosenberg made 33 appearances for the Baggies.

The club would like to thank Markus for his efforts over the past 18 months and wishes him well in his future career.
