FIFA announce pots for World Cup draw with England in pot four






England will be among an unseeded pot of European countries for Friday's draw for the 2014 World Cup finals, organisers have confirmed.
FIFA has announced the procedure of the draw and as expected the eight seeded teams,
who will be kept apart for the group stage, have been chosen according to October's world rankings.
The draw will be organised so that there will be no more than two European teams in any group of four countries,
and all the South American teams will be kept apart.

Pot 1: Argentina, Brazil, Belgium, Colombia, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Uruguay
Pot 2: Algeria, Cameroon, Chile, Cote d’Ivoire, Ecuador, Ghana, Nigeria
Pot 3: Australia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Iran, Japan, Korea Republic, Mexico, USA
Pot 4: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, England, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia

*One Pot 4 team will be drawn as a Pot 2 side



A pre-draw will be held to move one of the nine European teams into Pot 2.
That European team will then be drawn against one of the four seeded South American teams to preserve the geographical balance of the draw.
The four South American seeds: Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Argentina will form a temporary Pot X.
The three teams not drawn against the European team in Pot 2 will return to the main draw.

FIFA公佈決賽周球隊級別

國際足協（FIFA）周三公佈2014年世界盃決賽周32支球隊的所屬級別。除早已公佈、第1組別的8支種籽隊外，其餘24隊按地區歸類為每8隊一個組別。
當世界盃決賽周在星期五進行分組抽籤時，每個小組將由各個級別的其中一隊組成，目前僅得主辦國巴西確定為A組的第1隊，另外31個位置則仍有待抽籤決定。
由於第4組別有9支歐洲球隊，故周五抽籤前會先從第4組別抽出1支球隊，再轉入第2組別，令各組別也有8支球隊後才開始進行抽籤。

第1組別：巴西、西班牙、德國、阿根廷、哥倫比亞、比利時、瑞士、烏拉圭
第2組別：智利、厄瓜多爾、科特迪瓦、加納、阿爾及利亞、尼日利亞、喀麥隆
第3組別：美國、墨西哥、哥斯達黎加、洪都拉斯、日本、伊朗、南韓、澳洲
第4組別：荷蘭、意大利、英格蘭、葡萄牙、希臘、波斯尼亞、克羅地亞、俄羅斯、法國

今次呢個抽籤法有機會巴西、荷蘭、意大利、美國同組……

基本上佢個 pre-draw 九支歐洲球隊抽一隊，只要抽中一隊強隊就差不多肯定會製造一個死亡之組……

以前都試過有咁既情況，不過就唔會玩 pre-draw，只會將最低排名果隊歐洲隊移過去……
