Borussia Dortmund have brought in defensive cover in the shape of Manuel Friedrich 
Borussia Dortmund have announced the signing of former German international Manuel Friedrich. The 34-year-old was a free agent after leaving Bayer Leverkusen over the summer.He has spent the last week training with the club and has now signed a deal until the end of the season.Friedrich said: "I am very excited to play at Signal-Iduna-Park as a player of Borussia Dortmund, thus far I only played for visiting teams."To play for the home crowd, and not against them, must be a great feeling.
